Moira Nicolson is a LoLo CDT doctoral researcher at the UCL Energy Institute at University College London. Moira’s research involves using field experiments to test whether insights from behavioural economics could be used to boost participation in demand-side response programmes and tariffs without making them mandatory or opt-out. Moira is interested in research methods and recently completed a Research Fellowship at the Behavioural Insights Team, the organisation established by the UK Government to apply behavioural science to public policy.
